Day 01: Arrival at Cochin – Munnar (135 Kms./ 04hrs. drive approx).

Arrive at Cochin air port, after a traditional ‘Swagat’ (Welcome) our representative would assist you at the airport & direct drive to Munnar.

Munnar is largest tea-growing region, the rolling hills around Munnar are carpeted in emerald-green tea plantations, contoured, clipped and sculpted like ornamental hedges. The low mountain scenery is magnificent – you’re often up above the clouds watching veils of mist clinging to the mountaintops.

On arrival check in to the hotel and take rest. Evening time free for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02: Munnar – Full day tour.

After leisure breakfast,you will visit to Munnar Nallathanni Estate of Tata Tea here has a famous tea museum inside its complex. The museum has photographs and curios which relate the evolution of tea plantations in Munnar. This Tea Museum houses curios, photographs and machinery. Also visit Echo Points , CSI Church and Mattupetty. It’s located about 13 km from Munnar. Mattupetty is known for its dam and the beautiful lake, which offers pleasurable boat rides. Later visit the Kundala tea plantations and the Kundala Lake. The shimmering blue lake is the most photographed part of Kundala. Take a stroll in the tea estate, and enjoy the refreshing mountain breeze. Here you can view the entire process of making tea, right from plucking of tealeaves to their processing. After sightseeing return to hotel and take rest.

Day 03 : Munnar – Periyar ( 94 Kms./03 hrs. drive approx).

After leisure breakfast check out the hotel and drive to Periyar. On arrival check into the hotel and take small rest. After rest visit to Periyar is a wildlife heaven, sprawling across 777 sq. km of the Cardamom Hills in the Western Ghats; Thekkady is the home to one of the largest wildlife reserves in India. Alive with exotic flora and vibrant wildlife, it is the perfect getaway tucked away among hills In this century enjoy Boat ride and see the Elephants, Bison, Deer and numerous other varieties of birds. Day 04 : Periyar – Kumarakom (121 kms./04 hrs. drive approx).

After leisure breakfast check out the hotel and drive to Kumarakom . Kumarakom near Kottayam (16 kms) is well known for its backwaters and Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. This sanctuary is rich with a number of noteworthy species include the Dater or Snake Bird, Little Cormorant, Night Heroin, Golden- backed woodpecker, Crow Pheasant, White Breasted Water Hen and Tree Pie etc. The season for migratory birds are from November to March. After sightseeing return to hotel and take rest. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 05 : Alleppey – Houseboat.

After leisure breakfast check out the hotel and transfer to houseboat for check in. Houseboat Staying in this moving palace is breathtakingly stimulating experience. While sailing down a maze of canals one sees different scenes from the villages, paddy fields, coconut palms, fisherman and local life. Lunch, dinner next day breakfast and tea snacks will be provided in the boat. The cool breeze from the Lake make you sleep early in the night after anchoring in a fancy place. Day 06 : Houseboat Alleppey – Cochin ( 75Kms. /02 hrs. drive approx)Spice Plantation.

After breakfast in the houseboat disebark at Alleppey. Alleppey is also known as Vinice of the East because of the narrow canals and backwaters. Latter drive to Cochin , on arrival check in to the hotel and take rest. After wash and change you will visit St. Francis Church, which is the oldest European Church in India. Visit the Jewish Synagogue, built in the year 1568 and magnificently decorated by Chinese tiles & Belgian chandeliers. Giant scrolls of the Old Testament can be found here. Also visit the spice market, where the air is filled with the pungent smell of spices & history that brought the world to its doorstep. Chinese fishing nets, (Cheenavala) are distinctly unique to Cochin. It is believed that traders from the court of the Chinese ruler Kublai Khan introduced these nets here.

In the evening enjoy Kerala’s most popular classical dance, Kathakali.

Day 07 : Cochin Departure for Home.

After leisure breakfast check-out the hotel and drive to airport to connect flight for onward journey with pleasant experience.
